If you want to get rid of te blue discoloration, I recommend Blue Coral brand Blue Buster. Get it from your local HD aftermarket shop. This stuff actually does work. I've used it to restore the shine to a set of 1950's era chrome pipes that had gone nearly black they were so crudded up.
